Applications are invited from Registered Midwives (Endorsed) to join the Royal Perth Bentley Group (RPBG) as Clinical Midwives at Bentley Health Service (BHS) in an exciting and new model of care for maternity services. The service will provide a Midwifery-led Birth Centre (MBC) for women within our catchment area providing excellence in continuity of care from pregnancy through to birth by the same midwife for each woman. This model of care is the first of its’ kind offered within the Western Australia (WA) Health public sector.
We are seeking to establish a pool of experienced, passionate and caring Clinical Midwives (Endorsed) to join our MBC team providing evidence based and high-quality patient care as autonomous practitioners. If you have current Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Midwife with ‘Endorsement’ to prescribe schedule 2,3,5 and 8 medications required for midwifery practice across pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal care, then we would like to hear from you.
Our new MBC is located at BHS within a local community setting with dedicated and upgraded facilities for women accessing our services. Services include antenatal, intrapartum / birthing and postnatal.
This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
This recruitment pool will be open for 3 months, and the following should be noted:
- The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications throughout this timeframe and will assess on a regular basis.
- Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool and appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur within any EMHS facility.
- Appointments may be made from this pool until 29/04/2024.

Eligibility to Apply:
