Position Profile: The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) are seeking a suitably experienced and dynamic leader to join our Acute CAMHS team.
As the Coordinator Social Worker, you will lead and co-ordinate the services of the social work profession including the co-ordination of the professional supervision of staff and the promotion and maintenance of professional standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a specialised social work mental health service using a range of appropriate evidence-based interventions requiring advanced knowledge, experience and competence within a multidisciplinary and professional team context.
- Acting as an expert resource and first point of contact for social work matters and provides specialised consultation, education and supervision on complex mental health disorders in children and adolescents to both internal and external services and practitioners.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
