About the Arts and Culture Trust
The Arts and Culture Trust (ACT) was established on 1 July 2022, replacing the Perth Theatre Trust (PTT).

ACT’s mission is to offer wide-ranging arts experiences in well-managed venues.
The Trust’s venues are used by local, national, and international performing arts companies, performer, and artists, both professional and amateur. School and children’s performances and activities are also presented at these venues.
Funded arts organisations presenting regular seasons in Trust venues include the Barking Gecko Theatre Company, Black Swan State Theatre Company, Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company, West Australian Ballet, and West Australian Opera, as well as the Perth Festival.
The Trust supports the presentation or co-production of some events in its theatres.
ACT delivers cultural and performing arts experiences across a range of significant Western Australian Venues and precincts including:

- Subiaco Arts Centre
- State Theatre Centre of Western Australia
- The Albany Entertainment Centre
- Perth Cultural Centre
- Perth Concert Hall
- Goldfields Arts Centre

About the Role
The Marketing Officer is responsible for the efficient development, implementation and monitoring of marketing and publicity strategies to support the Albany Entertainment Centre’s audience development and income generation goals.

Pool Recruitment
ACT is seeking to establish a pool of Marketing Officers.
This is a pool recruitment process for appointment for fixed term, part-time and full-time vacancies with initial opportunity until the end of January 2024, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made as vacancies arise over the next twenty-four (24) months.
Reference Checks can be carried out at any point during the recruitment process.

A current Satisfactory (within 6 months) National Police Clearance will be required prior to commencement of employment.
To be eligible to apply for appointment to permanent positions in the Western Australian Public Sector, you must be an Australian Citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
For temporary (fixed term) positions, you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

This role is based at The Albany Entertainment Centre.
