As the Manager of Learning and Development, you will play a vital part of our mission to create a healthier future for young lives through ensuring that our learning, development, and capability framework is responsive to service demands and aligned with the future workforce requirements.
Working within a multidisciplinary environment encompassing services based in the Community and within Perth’s only dedicated Paediatric Tertiary Environment at Perth Children’s Hospital, you will lead the CAHS Learning and Development team in the design, planning, delivery and evaluation of targeted, innovative learning and development programs and initiatives.
Your accountability will extend to:
- leading a team of Learning and Development professionals, aligning the team to a high performance, culture and fostering positive employee engagement
- engaging across CAHS as a Learning expert, providing stakeholders with guidance and support to develop practical solutions to meet the organisations’ learning needs
- fostering and role-modelling an environment of continuous improvement, learning focus and outcomes delivery
- the development and delivery of CAHS corporate training
- Learning Management System contract management, administration and improvements
- leveraging networks across WA Health to collaborate and achieve synergies
The ability to perform collaboratively in a senior leadership team and achieve strategic and operational priorities for the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) are essential requirements for the successful candidate.
