About our graduate roles
As a Financial Audit graduate with the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) no two days will be the same. You’ll have exposure to both State and Local government operations and the opportunity to travel throughout Western Australia, allowing you to understand the role each organisation plays within the greater Western Australian community.

If successful, you will be offered:
- a 12-month contract commencing early February 2024 with a starting salary of $79,156 per annum plus 11% superannuation
- permanent appointment after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance.
Who are we looking for?
For the 2024 Financial Audit positions, you need to have completed an accounting degree in 2021, 2022 or 2023, and meet the CPA or CAANZ requirements for Associate Membership.
Beyond your degree, we are also looking for graduates with:
- a willingness to learn and develop expertise to achieve organisational goals
- experience working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders, treating others with respect and courtesy
- demonstrated ability to research, analyse and interpret information and report findings
- an ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, verbally and in writing
- a proven ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

What happens next?
Interviews are currently scheduled for September/October 2023 and will be conducted in our Perth CBD office. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by email the week before to select an interview time. Unsuccessful candidates can obtain feedback at the end of the recruitment process.
