We recognise the invaluable perspective and insight Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees bring through lived experiences to our workforce.
These experiences assist in shaping and ensuring the services we provide are culturally safe, appropriate, and more receptive to the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We are committed to continually strengthening our Aboriginal workforce as part of the Department’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2022-2024.
As a measure to achieve equality, Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act (WA) 1984 applies to this Register. Only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are eligible for appointment through this process.
