About the Role
The Main Roads Project Development Branch plays a crucial role in Western Australia by developing critical major road infrastructure projects that connect communities, improve safety and amenity, and support economic growth. The success of these projects depends on the efficient and effective management of project development activities.
We are currently seeking three Project Support Officers to provide project administration support to our Project Development Team, with the successful applicant requiring skills and experience in administration, effective communication, time management, document control and quality management. As a Project Support Officer, you will have excellent attention to detail, work well in a fast paced environment, have strong organisational skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience in the provision of administrative support to Project Managers and/or Project Directors,
- Demonstrate well-developed skills in investigation, analysis and problem solving
- Demonstrate your ability to work in a team to deliver high quality outcomes
- Have strong written communication skills, including preparation of meeting minutes, reports and various forms of correspondence
- Demonstrate your experience with record management using records management systems

- A comprehensive CV demonstrating your relevant skills and abilities within the context of the Job Role Statement
- A statement outlining your skill, knowledge and experience in relation to the following three (3) criteria in no more than three (3) pages
- Project administration support in a variety of contexts
- Work organisation with the ability to meet work schedules and deadlines, including managing conflicting priorities
- Written communication, including preparation of meeting minutes, reports, and various forms of correspondence
- A copy of your current Western Australian motor vehicle (car) Driver’s Licence or approved equivalent
- If applicable to you (not mandatory), a copy of your Certificate in Business
