This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. The Department is seeking to make immediate permanent and part time appointments to existing and brand new roles and to establish an ongoing pool of suitable candidates for future positions in the next 12 months.

About the Role

This rewarding and challenging position provides high level policy support and advice, and undertakes complex research and analysis in relation to the development, coordination, implementation and review of Government policies from a cross portfolio perspective. To be successful in this role you will be a strategic thinker that can influence and drive complex high quality, evidence-based policy outcomes. You will draw on your extensive professional experience and use your exceptional written and verbal communication skills to establish understanding and achieve results. As a highly experienced policy practitioner you will also mentor and readily share your knowledge and experience with other members of the team.

One role is focused on national security and emergency management policy so candidates with experiences in these areas are encouraged to provide details in their application
