About Corporate Services
Corporate Services is a key enabler for the Department in achieving our mission to lead and steward the health system. The ICT and Security function plays an integral role in planning and implementing strategies, policies and procedures that govern the management and maintenance of information technology and security services to meet corporate security standards and guidelines, ensuring optimum performance.
Your new role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person to lead the ICT and security function for the Department of Health, within the Corporate Services function. In this role you will provide leadership, advice and strategic management of information technology, information management, cyber security and digital service assurance for ICT systems and services managed by the Department.
This position leads the development and ongoing management of the strategic roadmap for the Department’s business systems and solutions, ensuring effective and efficient utilisation of ICT to meet strategic business objectives.
Your remit also includes cyber security, taking carriage of cyber initiatives, advising senior stakeholders on emerging threats, overseeing the detection, identification, reporting and control of security incidents and representing the Department on cyber security committees and working groups.
