About the opportunity
As a Library Officer in the Information Services team, you will provide a daily operational and client service for Library systems and users. You will be the first point of contact to assist internal staff and the public with information requests and enquiries.
There is currently one fixed-term position for 12 months available for immediate filling.
You will have excellent computer skills and be methodical and accurate with maintaining Library Management System (LMS). You will have experience in the use of Libraries Australia for cataloguing and advanced automated Library Management System usage for acquisition, accessioning, MARC cataloguing and library enquiries. You will also have exceptional communication skills to provide a customer focused operational library services for a specialist user client base.
