About the Role
Main Roads is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join the Aboriginal Engagement Transport Portfolio Team within Finance & Commercial Services Directorate in our Adelaide Terrace office.
The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and delivering communications services and functions to internal and external stakeholders to achieve Aboriginal engagement goals for the Transport Portfolio.
Strategic communications and stakeholder engagement activities include internal communications, developing and reviewing social, digital and web-based communications and publications.
The successful applicant will work in a diverse and dynamic workplace requiring a high level of organisation, time management and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, liaise and influence.
About You
You will have substantial experience in delivering comprehensive communications and engagement activities in a large and complex organisation, including excellent negotiation skills, proficient verbal and written communication capabilities and highly developed problem-solving abilities, ideally with a background in working with Aboriginal stakeholders in a similar role.

Applicants are required to complete a pre-employment medical questionnaire and obtain a National Police Clearance prior to appointment as part of this recruitment process.
