About the Role

VenuesWest is seeking Casual Back of House Staff, with multiple positions including stagehands, Audio Visual Technicians and Event Riggers available to work primarily at HBF Stadium in Mt Claremont, with the opportunity to work across our portfolio of VenuesWest venues in similar roles.

You will be assisting the Venue Operations Coordinator and Technical Operations Coordinator with the set up and pack down of arena and function room equipment

  • Bump In & Bump Out – set up and pack down of main arena equipment including staging, seating, draping, and crowd control in between events
  • Audio Visual equipment setup and pack down with potential AV operator shifts
  • Event Rigging – Setup and pack down of rigging equipment including chain motors, motor cable runs, motor control, truss building and slinging by qualified staff

Essential Qualifications:

  • White Card / CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry or the ability to obtain before first shift
  • Worksafe License to Perform High Risk Work – Dogging & Rigging (Event Rigging staff only)
