About the Role

VenuesWest is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to teach Parent & Baby and pre-school classes for the Learn to Swim Program.

The position is based at HBF Arena in Joondalup with the current shift available on Saturday mornings  (8:00am to 12:00noon).

About the Person

The successful candidate needs to have a bubbly personality and a good understanding of infant and pre-school teaching to engage well with parents & babies. Additional levels of swimming teaching experiences will also be considered.

  • National Police Clearance
    • Western Australian Working With Children Check; 
    • Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or equivalent) and Provide CPR (HLTAID001 or equivalent)
    • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or ASCTA Swim Australia Teacher Certificate
    • Instructor of Infant and Preschool aquatics - Austswim or Royal Life Saving, or Swim Australia Teacher of Babies and Toddlers 

Please note that the appointee will bear the costs associated with the abovementioned eligibility requirements.
