Business Operations Manager x2
Level 7 | Full Time – Fixed Term opportunities for 2 years with possibility of extension and/or permanency.

We are looking for two (2) fixed term Business Operations Managers to support the Grains, Horticulture and Irrigated Agriculture, and Livestock directorates for a period of 2 years, with the possibility of permanency.
What will your typical day look like?
Being an energetic leader, you will provide:
- strategic support with the responsibility for managing the execution of major business activities.
- direct and support the team to deliver efficient corporate, resourcing (budget, people and equipment) and research business activities.
- oversee the implementation and delivery of the directorates’ business plans, business processes and protocols that ensure they comply with government standards.
The role has 3 key responsibilities:
Administration and Governance - leading the implementation and management of business processes and protocols to ensure the directorate is complying with reporting requirements and government standards.
Business Support - managing and reporting on the directorate’s purchase of research equipment, workforce planning and overseeing budget in consultation with the leadership team.
Stakeholder Engagement - establishing collaborative working relationships and effective communication with team members, internal and external stakeholders, and key collaborators.

Special Requirements for this position:
- A current and valid Western Australian "C" class (car) drivers’ license or equivalent is required (if not currently held must be acquired prior to commencement at applicant’s expense).
- Occasional travel to and from metropolitan and regional offices may be required.
- The contract of employment specifies terms and conditions relating to this position.
