You are responsible for the safe and prompt transport of our customers to their various destinations, operating electric suburban railcars in either single or multiple consists throughout the urban rail network.

Pool Recruitment process
This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:
- The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a regular basis
- Suitable applicants will be placed in the pool from which permanent appointments may be made when vacancies occur until the pool closes
- Placement into the pool does not guarantee you an appointment to a position
- This pool will remain open from when it is advertised and will close at 5.00pm on Monday 10 October 2022
Being a Railcar Driver means that you will be required to work shift work and weekend work as required, with irregular start and finish times. You may also be temporarily required to work at various locations other than where assigned.
