About the role
The Higher Courts is accountable for delivering, together with the judiciary, court and tribunal, services that uphold the rights of the community.
The State Administrative Tribunal (the Tribunal) provides access to a single, one-stop tribunal, which provides timely and impartial decisions on a range of civil and administrative matters, incorporating facilitative dispute resolution including mediation.
Working within a dynamic team, the Case Coordinator provides technical expertise and guidance to junior staff. This involves being responsible for training and the development of case management procedures and processes. The role also provides high-level procedural advice and acts as the administrative conduit between the judiciary, Tribunal members, professional persons and members of the public.
Case Coordinators carry out end-to-end case management for a wide range of matters before the Tribunal including the provision of in-hearing support.
Eligibility to Apply

About you
The panel is looking for people who can see the big picture, understand the needs of their customers and are dedicated to continuous improvement. A keen desire to service the customer at all times is critical as is a commitment to the team and its objectives.

Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent and/or fixed term full time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however an appointment is not guaranteed.
The Department of Justice uses recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities. Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies at similar locations, with the Department of Justice for the duration of the pool.
Currently, there are four permanent positions available for immediate filling.
