The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is a critical participant in the administration of justice within Western Australia, providing an independent and effective criminal prosecution and confiscation services.
The ODPP is looking for a motivated and experienced Risk Management professional to lead and manage the development, implementation and review of the ODPP risk management framework and the ODPP’s strategic risk policies and procedures, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WHS) legislation, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, and other risk management obligations.
The Risk Manager will provide strategic advice and support to the Director of Public Prosecutions, Director Operations, executive and relevant business areas on risk management, WHS, business continuity and disaster recovery including monitoring governance issues and undertaking risk assessments.
The Risk Manager works across the ODPP to engage with and promote a strong risk awareness culture across the ODPP.
This role is both strategic and hands on so your ability to work effectively this way will be highly regarded as will your proven track record in managing the development, implementation and review of risk, business continuity and governance programs. Your ability to consult, create collaboration and build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholder will be essential to success in the role.
