The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available in the position of Principal Engineering Assurance & Governance Manager.  We are seeking an experienced individual to manage the development of PTA’s engineering assurance framework to support the delivery of projects within the PTA.  The incumbent will lead the consultation with key stakeholders and ongoing development of key engineering roles delivering projects across the PTA. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A professional qualification that would satisfy admission to the Institute of Engineers Australia.
  • Substantial experience in the application of engineering standards preferably in a Railway environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience in applying engineering assurance through the lifecycle of complex projects; and applying systems engineering and systems safety management to projects and maintenance.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

There is one permanent, full time position available for an immediate start.  This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur for up to 12 months.
