Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) is seeking to establish a pool of suitable applicants for occasional short term contract opportunities available across a range of positions for up to twelve (12) months.

After lodging your CV, you may be contacted to attend an interview if a suitable vacancy becomes available. Your CV will stay on our temporary register for three months, after which time, you will need to reapply.

Please note that if you are interested in permanent or long term contract positions, you will need to apply separately for vacancies advertised under Current vacancies on the departmental website.

NATIONAL POLICE CERTIFICATE

A condition of employment for new employees of DFES is that a current National Police Certificate (less than 3 months old) is provided prior to commencement.
