Job Description
We are seeking a digital marketing coordinator to help grow The Art Gallery of Western Australia’s (AGWA) social media and digital footprint. You will be joining at an exciting time as we cement the new commercial offerings of the Design Store, Rooftop Bar, and embed the new brand across the Gallery and its programs.
We’re looking for a natural communicator, able to produce engaging and on-brand content for audiences across our social media, website, and eDM channels. You will also be skilled in running paid social and digital ad campaigns, SEM, and improving our SEO.

This is a permanent full time, vacancy.
About AGWA
The Art Gallery of Western Australia is the State’s premier Art Museum. Situated in the heart of Perth’s Cultural Centre, the Main and Centenary Galleries house the State Art Collection of over 18,300 works by renowned local and international artists from the 1800s to today. In 2020, the Gallery celebrated 125 years of operation. In 2021, we opened the Gallery’s rooftop space – the largest commercially-available venue in WA and refreshed gallery spaces. In 2022, we unveil the new design concept store and café offering.

Location
This position is located in central Perth within the Cultural Centre hub close to the café, tourist and shopping districts.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the Culture and Arts Portfolio and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered - permanent and fixed term, part time and full time.
