About this opportunity
We are seeking an innovative and committed candidate for the position of Chief Information Officer.
As a member of the HSS Executive, reporting to the Chief Executive, this role will be responsible for leading the transformation and modernisation of ICT within HSS and the WA health system and be a key contributor to the strategic direction and management of HSS. The successful candidate will also play a role in creating a high-performing and modern shared services organisation, to support our customers to deliver excellent healthcare.
To be successful in the role you will be required to:
- lead and manage ICT operations to provide a system-wide ICT service to customers, which delivers a modern, secure, integrated, supported and user-friendly ICT platform for public health care services in Western Australia;
- oversee the management of the $140M HSS ICT operating expenditure and a team of more than 370 FTE;
- support the successful delivery of major ICT programs and projects; and
- work alongside the senior executive team and ensure productive relationships are developed and maintained throughout the ICT Business Unit with the key internal and external stakeholders.
