About The Role:
The Procurement Manager roles within Procurement Frameworks are responsible for either managing or developing significant and medium-risk whole of government contracts. There are over 40 whole of government contracts with a total annual turnover of $1B relating to goods, services and works across the following categories:
- ICT Solutions
- Consumables
- Energy and Facilities Solutions
- Travel, Transport and Fleet Services
- Professional Services
- Finance and Communications Services
- Works Consultancy Services
- Maintenance Services
Developing whole of government contracts involves leading the end-to-end procurement process, which includes preparing business cases, procurement plans, tender documents, evaluation reports, and contract management plans. During the contract phase, the role involves effectively managing the contract obligations, suppliers, stakeholders and analysing data in order to achieve the greatest value for money.
About You:
Relevant procurement experience You will have experience developing and/or managing strategic contracts, preferably across some or all the above-mentioned contract categories. Experience and knowledge of category management, commercial negotiations, project management and WA Government procurement policies / processes is desirable.
