Conditions

We currently have available one (1) full time permanent vacancy available for immediate filling.

There will also be a pool running for a period of up to 18 months from the date after the review period closes. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, fixed term and permanency.

Applicants found suitable but not recommended for this vacancy, may be considered for subsequent similar vacancies for a period of six (6) months, in accordance with Part 5 (General Appointment) of the Commissioner's Instructions No. 2: Filling a Public Sector Vacancy.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

Location

This position is located in the Perth Cultural Centre, at the new WA Museum Boola Bardip.

Job Description

The Marketing and Campaigns Officer works across all WA Museum brands, exhibitions and programs including WA Museum Boola Bardip, WA Maritime and WA Shipwrecks Museum, regional sites and corporate requirements.

In conjunction with the Senior Marketing and Campaigns Coordinator, this position co-ordinates the WA Museum’s marketing and promotional activities to increase awareness, meet visitation and budget targets and promote the Museum’s diverse range of products, programs, exhibitions and services to a range of audiences.
