Shaping, building and regulating the public sector to ensure delivery of better services and outcomes for Western Australians
We’re looking for multiple talented and driven Data Analysts in the Data Analytics and Technology division to help us deliver on the strategic objectives for the sector and the community.
Suitable applicants will be placed in the pool from which permanent and/or temporary appointments may be made. This pool will operate for a period of 12 months from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
Our role is to help the sector tackle the public policy challenges of both today and tomorrow. This includes setting values, standards and expectations for the sector; and helping agencies deliver outcomes. We also provide assurance, oversight and reporting for the sector. These factors make the Commission a dynamic and rewarding place to work.
These positions are primarily responsible for:
- using data modelling and machine learning concepts and techniques such as data/feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, model building, testing, validation and deployment best practices to inform public sector wide workforce policy and strategy
- researching and analysing data to identify trends, set benchmarks, develop evidence based insights and prepare high-level reports to inform organisational and sector-wide decision making.
There are three positions available for immediate filling:
- Level 4 Data Analyst Officer
- Level 5 Data Analyst
- Level 7 Principal Data Analyst
