Senior Records & Information Officer

About the Position
The Senior Records & Information Officer position is located within the Corporate Services Division of WorkCover WA. This position supports the Team Leader, Records & Information Services in complying with requests under the Freedom of Information Act (WA) 2002, ensuring compliance with the State Records Act 2002 and assisting with the continuous improvement of records and information management practices at WorkCover WA.
More specifically, the occupant of this position will be involved in the delivery of a variety of tasks, including:
- Assessing and responding to valid Freedom of Information (FOI) applications.
- Providing administration, support and training regarding WorkCover WA’s Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) (Micro Focus Content Manager).
- Contributes to the review of WorkCover WA’s Recordkeeping Framework, including the Recordkeeping Plan and Retention and Disposal Schedule; and
- Coordinating the Agency’s annual disposal program.

This position is available for an initial period of 12-months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be appointed to other similar vacancies that occur throughout the Agency over the coming 12 months.

Selection Methodology
