About the role
Hakea Prison is an all-male remand centre based in Canning Vale and is seeking an experienced full time medical receptionist to join our team.
Working with the Senior Medical Receptionists, this role provides administrative support to the health centre staff. This position contributes to the efficient functioning of the health centre and operates in an environment of competing priorities and constant adjustment. The position is required to manage a diverse ranges of tasks including internal and external appointments; supporting clinicians in the continuity of health care to inmates; managing correspondence; administrative support and general office duties. This position liaises and interacts with health centre staff, external agencies and patients.
The Medical Receptionist will work 75 hours per fortnight during business hours Monday to Friday.
