Conditions

This is a full time permanent vacancy.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

A valid C-Class drivers license will also be required for this role.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the Culture and Arts Portfolio and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered - permanent and fixed term, part time and full time.

The Manager, Exhibitions and Interpretive Projects provides leadership for the team responsible for development, creation and installation of temporary and permanent exhibitions, including ongoing maintenance.

The role manages the day-to-day planning within a strategic framework to develop, implement and evaluate high quality exhibition programming and other interpretive projects.
