About the role
We are seeking a suitably experienced person to fill the position of Senior Information Officer.
The Senior Information Officer assists with the monitoring and administration of the Department’s Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) and coordinates file creation, tracking and the classifying and indexing of corporate records. As the Senior Information Officer, you will provide assistance and support to users on EDRMS, assist in the coordination of search and retrieval requests and undertake document handling and movement.

Conditions
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within DLGSC and/or the wider public sector which arise within twelve months of the recruitment process being endorsed. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered fixed term, permanent, part-time or full-time.
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the Western Australian Public Sector, you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
Location
This role is based at Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street, Perth.
