About the role
We are seeking to establish a pool of suitably qualified applicants for Senior Manager roles within Corporate Communications. The pool will be valid for a period of six (6) months following finalisation of the process and may be used to fill permanent and fixed term, full time and part time opportunities that may arise in this period. Please note, being appointed to the pool does not guarantee you placement to a position.
We currently have one (1) permanent opportunity available for immediate appointment and will be looking to conduct interviews during the week of 14 – 18 December 2020.

We currently have an adaptable staff member who can either fulfil the role as a ‘job share’ (and has done so for the past year) or instead fulfil another pivotal role at our department. For that reason we are considering either of the above options for the right candidate.
We are looking for an experienced corporate communications ‘all-rounder’, as the Branch is responsible for everything from strategic communications, issues management, media relations and publishing and production, to digital communications, marketing and campaigns, and internal communications and events. The successful individual for this role will have highly developed strategic communications experience and a strong background leading large, multidisciplinary teams.

- Experience in the delivery of a broad range of communication services including media management skills; managing publications and production services; internal communication; and digital communications

- Previous demonstrated experience managing a large high performing branch or teams.
