Conditions
This is a full-time permanent vacancy.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the Culture and Arts Portfolio and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered - permanent and fixed term, part time and full time.
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

Job Description
The Membership Officer position is responsible for owning the strategy and creating effective membership campaigns to connect with new audiences and deliver upon the membership KPI’s for the business. This position will manage the day-to-day operational function of the team and maximise sales potential of all membership tiers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join one of the country’s most iconic cultural institutions and amplify the core offering (and steady growth acquisition) in conjunction with the launch of WA Museum Boola Bardip and the other venues. It is also responsible for internal liaison to ensure maximum visibility of the membership campaign offerings, by leveraging frontline opportunities for product and program exposure across all WA Museums owned touchpoints.
This role assists and works collaboratively with the marketing team, graphic design, Customer Relations as well as digital.
