Engineering Cadetship (Electrical)
Our vision, your career.
THIS IS A POOL RECRUITMENT PROCESS WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF OBTAINING A ONE (1) OR TWO (2) YEAR CADETSHIP.
People need to get to work, home and everywhere in between and businesses rely on our roads. With a rich history dating back to 1926 and an exciting future ahead, Main Roads Western Australia is the WA State Government agency responsible for managing the State's road network safely, connecting people and places. Main Roads is not just about roads. It’s about people.
Main Roads Western Australia is offering Engineering Cadetships to enthusiastic, invested and courageous students who are interested in working in and around regional Western Australia. This cadetship is available for students currently completing a Bachelor Degree of Electrical Engineering at a Western Australian university.
The future you get is the one you create.
We are looking for highly motivated students who have a thirst to tackle issues, who are not afraid of a challenge. You are passionate about developing our State’s road transport infrastructure in an innovative manner and are motivated to make a difference. Proactive students who are enthusiastic about their future in Main Roads and working around Western Australia are sought after for this cadetship.
Our program offers paid tuition fees, sustenance allowance and paid vacation work over the summer break so you can focus on your studies at hand. Upon successful completion of your Electrical or Electronic Engineering Degree, you will be eligible to join our Engineering Graduate Program, which involves a three-year rotational program across different areas of Main Roads including hands on participation in high profile electrical engineering projects, electrical asset management, development, design, delivery and operations. Our program offers an attractive remuneration package, flexible working arrangements and Health & Wellbeing program.
