ICT Security Architect
About the Role
As part of the Finance and Commercial Services Directorate, the Information Management Branches responsibility is to enable business through innovative, agile and reliable Information and Communications Technology Systems and Services.
The Information Management Branch manages a large and complex network that supports over 2000 staff and 300+ applications across the whole state. It delivers ICT Services for the whole organisation with a mix of cloud and on premise technology.
In this role, you will ensure access to Information and Telecommunication Technology (ICT) managed systems across Main Roads is authorised, registered and controlled to prevent accidental or malicious damage to data and ICT Infrastructure. You will also ensure security standards; policies and all current practical security measures are implemented, tested, current and fully documented.
About You
As an experienced ICT professional, you will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in protecting the security of ICT infrastructure and services in a large and complex organisation. You will have the ability to think critically and develop policies and standards, with a strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences as you provide advice, guidance and leadership in relation to ICT security awareness.

- Evidence of your Degree in Information and Telecommunication Technology (ICT) or relevant discipline, if applicable.
