This is a Permanent, Full time position based in Kalgoorlie.

About the role

Legal Aid has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic office all-rounder to join our team in Kalgoorlie. Working as a member of a small busy team you will undertake a range of secretarial and administrative duties, including data entry, typing from a Dictaphone and provision of customer service.

Experience in the legal sector will be highly regarded.

The Kalgoorlie office hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm.

About you

We are looking for an experienced legal secretary with accurate keyboard skills and well-developed communication skills, who feels comfortable dealing with people from all walks of life, both over the telephone and in person.  An ability to work as part of a small team is essential.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, and it might also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout our organisation. Alternatively, should the successful candidate decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable candidate may be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months (unless otherwise stated) from the completion date of the initial selection process. Should no suitable candidate be identified, or an offer declined, the panel may search for further candidates beyond the closing date.
