Operations Manager

Salary: PSGO CSA GA 2019, Level 5, $88,047 - $96,994 p.a.

Conditions

This is a part time (0.8 FTE or 60 hours per fortnight) permanent vacancy. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 24 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanency.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

This position is located in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia's largest goldfields town famed for its fascinating gold rush history, Aboriginal culture and natural heritage.

Job Description

Under the limited direction of the Regional Manager, this position provides leadership and direction through applying and monitoring human and physical resources to the site’s daily operations.

You are responsible for developing and maintaining operational networks through effective liaison with visitors, stakeholders, community and special interest groups as well as promoting community support for the organisation’s goals and strategies.

This role also supports the site’s visitor-oriented experiences including programs, events, outreach, marketing and online services.
