The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, housing, community initiatives and regional services reform.
The Department of Communities will relocate its head office to the new purpose-built Kings Square, Fremantle, that is set to accommodate 1500 State Government employees. This move is currently scheduled for April 2020.

CHILD AND CARER CONNECTION HUB
The CCC Hub manages the referral and matching process for children and young people with care arrangements that best suit their needs, with the aim of providing quality care experiences and outcomes.
THE ROLE
As a member of the CCC Hub, you will be responsible for the provision of services to children in the care of the Department.
Other duties include:
- Supporting foster carers.
- Working with the District staff, foster carers, community groups and other stakeholders to meet the placement and care needs of the children.
- Ensuring departmental statutory obligations and practice standards are complied with in relation to child placements.
- Participating in the planning decisions for the children.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a permanent, full time opportunity.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
You must have a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology or relevant human services area to be eligible for this position. All overseas qualifications must also be assessed for Australian equivalency.
