Position Profile: We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses. This is a casual position to support services for child health services for children under four years including Breastfeeding support and timely completion of Birth To School Entry assessments, to reduce wait times for appointment and improve service delivery to clients. In collaboration with the Clinical Nurse, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the promotion of health and wellbeing of children using a quality standard of nursing practice in a designated area.
Area Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) aims to ensure that the children and young people of Western Australia get the best start in life through health promotion; early intervention; and patient centred, family-focused care.
CAHS employs over 4000 people and provides services throughout the community within metropolitan Perth; operating the State’s only dedicated Tertiary Paediatric Hospital (Perth Children’s Hospital); providing specialised state wide services; as well as providing support to other hospitals and health services across Western Australia.
