The Insurance Commission of Western Australia is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides Motor Injury Insurance to Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government known as the RiskCover Fund.

Generating $1 billion in annual revenue and earnings and with total assets of approximately $5.6 billion under investment, the Insurance Commission is a substantial self–funded statutory authority.

The Role

The Information Technology Division is currently seeking an experienced, motivated and proactive individual to fill a permanent vacancy as a Test Analyst.

As a Test Analyst you will be responsible for test preparation and execution tasks across a diverse portfolio of software development and infrastructure projects using a variety of test techniques. Other duties include providing testing metrics and producing comprehensive incident and progress reports.

The Person

You will engage with our values and in addition to relevant industry qualifications, will have the capability to:

  • work with a customer service focus;
  • work collaboratively;
  • communicate effectively;
  • understand the use of test tools, design and execution of test cases; and
  • think flexibly with a desire for service delivery innovation.

Training, coaching and mentoring will be provided.

Appointment Information

In addition to the immediately available position, appointments may be made from this process within a twelve month period to similar positions that may be permanent or contract, including contract appointments with the possibility of extension or subsequent permanency.
