Conditions This is a part time (0.6FTE or 45 hours per fortnight) permanent vacancy. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanency.
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.
Location This position is located in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia's largest goldfields town famed for its fascinating gold rush history, fabulous old buildings and old gold miners' ghost towns.
Job Description Under the limited direction of the Regional Manager, this position provides leadership and direction through applying and monitoring human and physical resources to the site’s daily operations.
You are responsible for developing and maintaining operational networks through effective liaison with visitors, stakeholders, community and special interest groups as well as promoting community support for the organisation’s goals and strategies.
This role also supports the site’s visitor-oriented experiences including programs, events, outreach, marketing and online services.
