Our graduate program has been recognised Australia wide and is a joint initiative between the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, and Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation.

The position
The Resource Tenure Division is seeking a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Business or Commerce, or an approved equivalent bachelor degree, with a focus on economics and/or finance (bachelor degree to be completed in the current or preceding calendar year).

Within the Resource and Environmental Regulation Group, the Resource Tenure Division is responsible for administering the granting of tenure for resource exploration and production, and facilities access to land for resource activities, and to prevent the sterilisation of resources.

You will use your tertiary education with corporate knowledge to interact with internal and external stakeholders to analyse issues around tenements administration, regulation and land use planning. You will undertake designated research, resource policy and project activities to support business objectives both individually and as part of the team. You will use your knowledge and skills to support and enhance regulatory and business activities. You will also draft correspondence including reports and briefing papers.
