The Role
We are looking for a dynamic individual who will provide leadership and direction for the delivery of Perth’s train operations. You will be responsible for the efficient, effective and safe operation of key components of the Perth urban rail network including Train Control, Service Planning, Railcar Drivers and Depots. You will require knowledge and experience in rail transit services and passenger requirements in order to identify current and emerging issues and to develop the strategies to deal with the challenge of maintaining high performance.

- Deliver rail transit operational services, ensuring systems and procedures meet regulatory and safety requirements;
- Experience in maintaining control of emergency situations;
- Senior management experience in a multi-disciplinary business or other relevant organisations;
- Demonstrated experience in the development and management of contracts and an ability to work with contractors; and
- Experience presenting strategy and operational directions to staff and the general public in a concise and articulate manner.
