Established in 1960, East Hamilton Hill Primary School is located in the suburb of Hamilton Hill, 5 kilometres south-east of the port of Fremantle, and caters for students from Kindergarten through to Year 6. The Role

We are seeking outstanding primary teachers who display exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to building strong, respectful relationships with students, families, colleagues and the wider school community.

Suitable applicants will ideally create inclusive and engaging learning environments where students feel safe, supported and challenged to achieve their personal best. They will display high expectations for all learners, foster a growth mindset and actively support students' academic, social and emotional development.

Suitable applicants should display strong teaching practice and a commitment to evidence-informed approaches that improve student outcomes. They will work collaboratively within a whole-school culture focused on continuous improvement and contribute positively to the implementation of the school's Business Plan priorities.

Applicants should possess a strong understanding of structured literacy and explicit teaching practices, including a willingness to implement and engage with whole-school programs such as UFLI Foundations, Talk for Writing, Heggerty, Spelling Mastery and Origo Stepping Stones. They should be committed to consistent instructional practices and understand the importance of collaborative planning, moderation and shared responsibility for student achievement.

Suitable applicants will display the ability to effectively differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students, including students with disability, students requiring additional intervention and students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. They should utilise a range of assessment tools and student data to inform planning, monitor progress and provide timely feedback to students and families.
