About the Position
As the Talent Acquisition and Engagement Consultant you will support workforce planning, recruitment, workforce development and employee engagement initiatives across North Metropolitan TAFE. This job works closely with managers and stakeholders to strengthen Aboriginal employment outcomes, build workforce capability and support inclusive, culturally safe employment practices.

You’ll have free parking at the Leederville campus, and there is an option to accrue an additional two weeks leave each year on top of your standard four weeks Annual Leave. You will also be entitled to access up to five days of paid Cultural Leave. 

Suitability Requirements
To be considered suitable for this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience delivering workforce services, recruitment and selection, workforce development, Aboriginal employment initiatives, workforce planning support or related people services functions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, communities and organisations.
  • The ability to analyse information, solve problems and provide practical recommendations that support workforce and employment outcomes.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments, organisational policies and culturally informed employment practices relevant to workforce management and recruitment.

Eligibility Requirements and Other Conditions
To be considered eligible for employment, you will:

  • Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
  • Hold, or have the ability to obtain:
    • Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
