We are currently seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to fill numerous (4.6 FTE) Permanent Part-Time Staff Development Nurse positions in
ED 0.6FTE, Acute Surgical (Plastics/ENT/Maxillofacial) – 0.8FTE, (General Surgery/ Vascular) – 0.4FTE, (Trauma Unit) – 0.4FTE, Acute Medical (Respiratory) – 0.5FTE, (Renal, Haemodialysis) - 0.4FTE, (Haematology/Oncology) – 0.4FTE, Older Adult Rehabilitation 0.4FTE, General Medical – 0.7FTE.
About the Opportunity:
The Staff Development Nurse is responsible for education and training to support workforce development and as part of the multidisciplinary team plans, implements and evaluates orientation, education and training at the ward or unit level. This role facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care and works collaboratively to ensure service is delivered in accordance with health service policy and standards. The Staff Development Nurse practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
