The Organisation

Lotterywest is uniquely the only State Government-owned and operated lottery in Australia. We have supported the community for over 90 years with the purpose to operate a responsible and sustainable lottery that leaves an enduring positive impact for WA.

Lotterywest is also the employing agency for Healthway, the only State Government department dedicated to health promotion. For over 30 years, Healthway has funded projects and research to inspire Western Australians to live healthier lives.

About the job

Fixed Term - Full Time 2 Years with the possibility of extension and/or permanency

This role will lead the delivery of Lotterywest’s WA 2029 Bicentenary Grants Program which aims to support projects that mark 2029 and beyond in a way that is respectful, meaningful, and inclusive of all Western Australians. 

Working closely with the General Manager Grants & Community Development, you will drive Lotterywest’s approach to support communities statewide to commemorate and participate, during and after 2029, to reflect on shared history and stories, and strengthening connections across the State as we move forward together.  Lotterywest supports and is contributing to the cross-Government approach to commemorate WA’s 2029 Bicentenary.

 

The role has the following key areas of focus:

  • Leading the design and delivery of the WA 2029 Bicentenary Program
  • Develop, influence, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the WA 2029 Bicentenary Program

We’re looking for

  • An experienced strategic and operational program manager with community development and grant making expertise
  • A strong collaborator who can connect across government agencies 
  • A strong leader to provide strategy and guidance to the Lotterywest team and ensure strategic direction
