Are you an experienced Investigative Analyst ready to assess complex information and help drive high-quality investigations? The CCC is looking for a Senior Investigative Analyst to join our Investigations Directorate.

 

This is a fixed-term five-year contract with the possibility of a further contract and/or extension. Suitable applicants may be considered for other similar vacancies within the next 12 months.

 

THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to strengthen the integrity of the public sector, reduce corruption and disrupt criminal activity for the benefit of our community.

 

The Investigations Directorate coordinates and manages the Commission's investigative activities. The Directorate responds to reporting of, and acts to proactively identify, suspected serious misconduct within the WA public sector and WA Police. The Directorate is also responsible for leading investigations into unexplained wealth and criminal benefits across the broader WA public. The focus of the Commission's investigative activity is systemic and complex matters, which may require the use of specialist capabilities.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

Senior Investigative Analyst’s provide a critical service to the Commission’s investigative functions. They drive the research and analysis of evidence and intelligence, identifying gaps in information and strategies to address them, and work collaboratively with their team and stakeholders to deliver impactful investigative outcomes. Senior Investigative Analysts operate across the Commission’s investigative functions as required.   

 

The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and employment is conditional on you possessing and maintaining a national security classification of LEVEL 1 – NEGATIVE VETTING or higher.
