About the role

We're looking for a proactive and relationship-focused Contract & Procurement professional to play a key role in delivering procurement and contract management outcomes that support our operational and strategic objectives. Working across the full contract lifecycle, you'll manage procurement activities, implement and administer contracts, build strong supplier relationships, and partner closely with stakeholders to provide practical advice on procurement and contracting matters. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll have the opportunity to drive value, improve supplier performance, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help ensure contracts are delivered effectively, compliantly and commercially.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in contract and procurement management, including planning, market engagement, contract implementation and ongoing administration. You'll be a confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, able to build consensus, manage competing priorities and navigate contractual issues with sound judgement and professionalism. With strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes, you'll thrive in a collaborative environment where your expertise can make a genuine impact. A relevant knowledge and/or experience within a government procurement environment would be highly regarded.

About You!

  • Experience in assisting with dispute/issue resolution relating to contractual and/or commercial matters.
  • Well developed written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
