The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and initiative driven School Officer to join our team and assist with key school operations.

You will be the first point of contact for our school, responsible for providing efficient and high-quality customer service to our students, parents, and visitors.

As a School Officer, you will ideally be a collaborative team player who has a high level of attention to detail. The role encompasses a broad range of administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to customer service, enrolment processes and maintaining accurate school databases and records.

Experience with Compass, Student Information System (SIS), RM Billing and RM Finance is highly desirable, along with a willingness to support and learn further phases of Kaartdijin implementation.

  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

    1. Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
    2. Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.
    3. Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
    4. Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices
    5. Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
