We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
School Officers will have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles across the different administration areas of Fremantle College, ideally delivering outstanding service to our College community.
Ideally, you will have relevant experience, capacity and willingness to undertake a wide range of support services to a high standard, including but not limited to finance and procurement processes, marketing and communications, events, enrolments, attendance, learning area support, student services, school reporting, and occupational health and safety procedures and requirements.
The role also involves providing administrative support to the Principal and Executive Team.
Suitable applicants should have a good understanding of relevant systems within a busy secondary school business context. You should possess a willingness to adapt and an eagerness to learn new skills. You will ideally have strong organisational skills, the ability to meet timelines in your day-to-day working environment, and a willingness to be a supportive and capable team member. Attention to detail and the ability to work within the Department of Education's procedures and processes are highly desirable.
Suitable applicants will display strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, with well-developed spreadsheet and database management skills. Experience with school-based systems such as Student Information System (SIS), Compass, Relationship Manager (RM) Billing, RM Finance and Reporting to Parents (RTP) will be highly desirable. Previous experience in a secondary school or education-based administrative environment will also be highly regarded.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills are disiable. The School Officer will ideally be required to communicate professionally with students, parents, caregivers, staff and other stakeholders, particularly in relation to attendance, student records, welfare and behaviour support. Applicants should be adaptable, collaborative and willing to learn new systems and responsibilities as required. They will ideally be able to work effectively in a busy and sometimes challenging environment while maintaining a high standard of service, accuracy and professionalism.
