About the opportunity:
Main Roads is seeking an experienced and motivated Safety Manager to lead and strengthen safety performance across our Metropolitan Region operations.
Working closely with the Region’s senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping, implementing and driving a proactive safety culture across a diverse portfolio of road infrastructure projects and maintenance activities. This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership opportunity, ideally suited to a safety professional who is passionate about risk management, continuous improvement and workforce wellbeing.
We are looking for a candidate with strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation, standards and contemporary best practice, together with a demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives, influence positive behavioural change and deliver improved safety outcomes.
