This is a Permanent Full-Time appointment for 76 hours per fortnight.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.

We are currently seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team.
Ward 7B at Fiona Stanley Hospital is a 24-bed tertiary Acute Surgical Unit and Trauma ward looking after a complex, high-acuity patient group across General Surgery, Colorectal, Upper GI, Breast, Endocrinology and Gynaecology. With admissions from ED, inter-hospital transfers and ICU step-down, it’s a busy, fast-moving environment where patient flow and coordination are key. We’re looking for a Nurse Unit Manager who is dynamic, approachable and able to lead from the front. You’ll need to be organised, solutions-focused and comfortable managing competing priorities, while supporting your team and keeping a strong focus on patient safety, flow and quality care. This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy surgical setting, values teamwork and is committed to building a positive culture and continuously improving how we deliver care.
